Dear Parents,
This half term we are trialling a new homework system.
All homework for this half term is explained on the homework grid. I will send each child home with a paper copy and will have spares at school!
The English and Maths activity sheets will be given out on Fridays to be returned the following Wednesday.
Please could daily reading continue to be recorded in your child’s reading record. Reading records should be in school every day.
I have included a topic based task. This should be recorded in your child’s homework book and returned on the Wednesday as shown in the grid.
I realise that many children have lots of other commitments so I would ask that the reading, english, maths and spelling homework be done as a priority and the topic based tasks done if there is time!
Spelling test books will now remain at school and tests will continue to be on Fridays. All the spellings for this half term are on the sheet. Your child may have different spellings to another child.
