Dear Parents
On the afternoon of Monday 6th February, we would like to take the children in Year 5 to Embsay Crag as part of our PE topic of Outdoor adventurous activities. The children have planned the walk themselves and will be navigating themselves (under adult supervision at all times) using an Ordnance Survey map.
Children should wear warm clothing (non uniform) and suitable footwear -walking boots/ wellies. Please can they also bring a waterproof coat, hat gloves and a water bottle. If the weather isn’t suitable on the day, we will re-arrange the date and notify you.
There is a reasonable chance that Mr Hardman may be on paternity leave on this date. If this is the case, it may be re-arranged to the next half term.
This trip is a local visit and a separate consent is not required under the terms of our Educational Visits Policy.
