Dear Parents,
We have been invited to take part in the Richard Mason Memorial Football Tournament. Football was Richard’s passion and he was a very successful manager of Parish Church School’s football team with whom he won many trophies throughout his years. For this reason an annual football tournament is held in honour of his memory.
We may be asked to play on Friday 21st April, Friday 28th April and Friday 5th May, with the final (if we are successful) being held on Friday 12th May. The sessions will take place at Sandylands. I have not been informed of the make up of the team required. Mr Shindler will select a team if there are more than the maximum number (10) wishing to participate.
Children will need dropping off at Sandylands at 3.45pm (in their indoor PE kit bottoms plus school t-shirt, together with a water bottle and shin pads) and should be collected at 5pm. Parents are not allowed in the PE hall. Either Mr Shindler or another staff member will be present.
