Croissants and waffles for breakfast!

Year 6 have been amazing this week, showing great maturity during their SATs.

We started off on Tuesday with a happy breakfast of croissants, waffles and juice - and lots of enjoyable chatter! The children have had fun doing some Big Sheet maths outside in the school grounds, and have put their heads together in groups to come up with some ideas for a new orienteering course (or courses!) for Embsay Primary. I was really impressed with how well they thought about their ideas and look forward to them completing their pitches for presentation.

After our final test this morning, we spent some time at Embsay Park, where the children were incredibly well-behaved and had loads of well-deserved fun, followed by an afternoon back at school consisting of Art and PE.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Please remember, this past week only shows us a snap-shot of what you can achieve and a very small part of what contributes to who you are. There is so much more to each of you; so many different talents, skills and interests... Your uniqueness is what makes you, you and that's what matters the most.

Massive well done to you all! :)
