There were lots of ten out of tens for today's visit to Bolton Abbey! We enjoyed ageing the trees by giving them hugs and using our hand spans. We identified trees whilst wearing blindfolds - the trick was to feel the bark! We skimmed stones, built stone towers and struck poses on the wooden stepping stones. The weather was kind and we spent all day outside, finishing off by drawing some sketches of the beautiful abbey ruins.
