The governors of the school are drawn from the local community and are committed to working with the staff and the local authority to continually improve on the high standards of education currently provided and to enhance the educational environment in which this is delivered. Its core key responsibilities are:
- To ensure clarity of vision and strategic direction
- To hold the school to account for educational achievement of its pupils, and
- To make sure that the school’s money is well spent
