We were really lucky to be visited by Olive's grandma, Mrs Bland, on Friday. She brought us some fragments of Roman pottery that had only just been dug up in February. What an absolutely amazing feeling we had to be one of the first groups to handle and examine 2000 year old artefacts. We are now going to try to find out what type of pot they could have come from.
