Reception (and Year 1) had a fabulous trip to Harlow Carr Gardens in Harrogate. In the morning, we met our Leader, Cal, and enjoyed participating in the 'Who Lives In Our Garden?' Workshop with him (and our teachers from school). We spent some time in the Education Centre, thinking about Insects and the places they might live before exploring the Gardens. We loved looking in the pond where we were lucky to see newts, water boatmen, water spiders and water snails before we explored the woodland where we saw many more minibeasts, including, spiders, slugs, worms, earwigs and aphids.
