Today we walked around Embsay village. We were being detectives and looking for clues about the age of buildings. We were also looking for different materials that have been used and talking about the property of those materials.
We were very lucky that a local resident showed up a very old hole in the ground. It is little known and it is the hole that the village maypole used to stand in.
We had a very interesting trip!
