Christmas dinner

This will take place next Wednesday 14th December – orders should be placed as soon as possible online via School Grid.

Christmas Parties

Christmas parties will take place next Wednesday 14th December.

For Christmas parties we will be purchasing juice and a small vegetarian chocolate biscuit for each child.  No food items must be brought into school by children. If your child cannot, because of known allergies or food intolerances, eat chocolate biscuits, please contact the school office so a suitable alternative can be discussed.

Children should come to school on Wednesday wearing party clothes. Please make sure shoes are suitable for playing outside and that they have coats with them.

Year 5 can bring their party clothes to change into when they get back from Rugby.

Christmas cards

If your child would like to send Christmas cards please could they be brought into school any time from now until Thursday next week. They should be marked with addressee’s full name, year group and if possible key stage and placed in the post box in the hall. They will then be sorted and handed out in class.

Please could we ask children do not bring presents for other children into school or distribute them on the playground.

Pantomime

The PTA has again kindly agreed to fund a pantomime coming into school on the last day of term.

Chocolate Selection Boxes

All of our children are being given a chocolate selection box to take home with them next Wednesday. This gift is once again from one of our families who would like remain anonymous. They have also this year tried to accommodate children with allergies however, please ensure ingredients are checked before letting your child have the alternative.  A big thank you to the family for this lovely extra treat.

Presents for staff

Parents have asked about presents for staff. Thankfully this year they do not need to be quarantined and can be brought at any point next week should you wish to do so. Please not that our code of conduct does however require us to refuse or donate to charity any presents with a value of more than £20.
