Please find below the information for tomorrow's visit to Liverpool:
Year 6 Liverpool Trip update
Just a reminder to all parents, carers and pupils that the coach will leave the Village Car Park at 8am. Please arrive in plenty of time prior to our departure. Children will be required to wear school uniform and suitable shoes. I have also reminded children to please bring a coat! We cannot rely on the weather and the trip on the Ferry may be a bit chilly.
Children will require a packed lunch for the day, as well as additional drinking water in their water bottles. Snacks can also be provided for later in the day - we will not be returning to Embsay until approx. 5:00pm at the very earliest (traffic dependent) however recent route checks have suggested a possible delay leading to an arrival time of 6pm. Any delays therefore will be communicated to you at the earliest opportunity through the school and sent out to parents via ParentPay.
Children are permitted to bring £10 spending money as there is a shop at The Beatles Museum.
Finally, if your child suffers from travel sickness, please ensure they are given the necessary medication prior to leaving home. If an additional dose will be required before leaving Liverpool, please let staff know asap - confirmation of this will need to be submitted to the office and the medication provided on Wednesday morning at the latest with clear instructions of dosage and time to be taken before travel.
