Micro-habitats

In Science, we explored the school grounds to see which creatures lived there and what evidence of living things there was.  We found a variety of micro-habitats ... insects, such as millipedes, wood louse and ear-wigs along with evidence of hedgehogs, birds and spiders.  Fungi, moss and lichen grew in the stone walls and on tree stumps.  A local dog even came to say hello through the fence!
