Didn't we make fabulous Romans? We dressed up to welcome a Roman soldier into class for the day. He taught us what life as a soldier was like and some battle techniques. In the afternoon, we used clay to make Roman oil lamps and a Roman game. We also sketched and handled Roman artefacts.
