Just a few reminders for September that might be useful now!
- School reopens on Tuesday 6th September
- PE days will be as follows:
- Reception – Tuesday and Friday
- Year 1 – Monday and Thursday
- Year 2 – Tuesday and Friday
- Year 3 – Tuesday and Thursday
- Year 4 – Monday and Thursday
- Year 5 – Monday and Thursday
- Year 6 – Friday
- On PE days children should come to school in PE kit – this must be a white t-shirt (with or without Embsay logo) and blue shorts. Football kit or t-shirts with logos are not acceptable. Extra layers can be own choice.
- School shoes – except on PE days children should be wearing black shoes. Trainers or similar footwear should not be worn. In winter, please make sure your child has suitable indoor footwear if they wear wellingtons or boots to school.

- Lunches – please remember to order your child’s school lunch before term starts! KS2 parents please also ensure that your child has enough credit on their account before ordering meals if you have not set up a direct debit.
- As space in cloakrooms is very limited, we ask that children in Reception and KS1 only bring a book bag to school – the slightly gusseted version is more practical. Small rucksacks may be used by children in KS2.
