On Monday we had a visit from a GP.
First she taught us all about our bodies and we talked about the important organs that keep us alive.  These organs can't all be seen by the doctor so we talked about different ways that doctors can check on us.
After that we all had a turn at handling stethoscopes to listen for breathing sounds and heartbeats.  We also used an oximeter to check the amount of oxygen in our blood. Additionally, we used a small torch to check throat and mouth health.  Doctors also use torches to check if patients eyes are working correctly and they might use one to check moles on the skin.
What a wonderful lesson!  Thank you very much to our friendly GP.  We learnt so much and really appreciate the time given to us 😀
