Today, we all brought in our favourite books and shared them with the reception children when we went into their class to do paired reading, which we loved. In assembly, the teachers shared their favourite books with us too. Michael Morpurgo did a live web-link and shared his book 'War Horse'. We also chose our favourite book character and compared it to our-selves. The authors of the £1 World Book Day books, told us about their books through their blogs, so we decided which ones we were going to get at the bookshop with our voucher. We are looking forward to reading them and launching our 'Read for Good' sponsored read to raise money for resident storytellers in children's hospitals and getting some books for our school too.
